SCOMS is offering a four-hour session entitled, “OMT For MD Preceptors” as an optional session during the 2024 Winter CME Conference. This breakout session is ideal for physicians without prior OMT training who precept osteopathic medical students and/or residents and will offer the following:

• background of osteopathic manipulative medicine
• introduce different osteopathic techniques (OMT)
• discuss indications and contraindications to treatment as well as potential side effects
• explain appropriate documentation and billing
