Course Learning Objectives:

  • Apply evidence-based updates in primary care, internal medicine, surgery, and subspecialty fields to improve diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes.

  • Strengthen interprofessional collaboration and communication skills to optimize patient safety and care coordination.
  • Incorporate updates in osteopathic principles and practice into clinical decision-making to reinforce a whole-person approach to patient care.

CME Accreditation Statement: The South Carolina Osteopathic Medical Society (SCOMS) is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. SCOMS designates this program for a maximum of 20 Category 1-A AOA CME credits and will report CME and specialty credits to the AOA commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

SCOMS Continuing Medical Education Policy: Evaluation data will be compiled and provided to SCOMS. Comments and suggestions regarding program content, location and other program specific details will be considered when planning future activities. Grievances regarding program administration and reporting of AOA CME credits will be handled on an individual basis. Participants with grievances that cannot be resolved will be sent to the AOA CCME.

Who Should Attend? This conference is designed for Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, MD Physicians, Residents and Medical Students, as well as Advance Practice Providers and Allied Health Professionals.

Cancellations: SCOMS must be notified of any attendee cancellation in writing by January 15, 2026, in order to provide a refund. Cancellations received after January 15, 2026 will not be refunded.
